The Wolf Food Group is a German business enterprise which holds leading market positions in several sausage categories. It represents traditional pro-ducts as well as products at the pulse of time. In recent years, the Wolf Group has developed from a pure manufacturer of sausage and meat specialties into a major food producer. The extensive range includes regional, traditional pro-ducts such as the Bavarian and Thuringian specialties, barbecue products as well as vegan and vegetarian alternatives and a variety of convenience pro-ducts such as ready meals and snacks. The family-owned company, with around 1,600 employees and sales of 320 million euros, is thus one of the most important manufacturers in the food industry. With our products, we want to ensure shared moments of enjoyment as well as strong togetherness says Christian Wolf, who is now the fourth generation to head the company, explaining his vision. The innovative company continues to focus on its regional specialties and barbecue products: For example, WOLF is the market lea-der in Germany with its Original Thuringian Bratwurst, Berner Sausages and in the bratwurst segment. Originals such as the Thuringian Bratwurst, or the original Nuremberg Bratwurst are known and loved as regional specialties far beyond the borders of Germany. The products may only be produced in Thuringia or Nuremberg and are accordingly marked with a protected designation of origin PGI. The Wolf group of companies relies on three strong brands: Wolf Echt gute Wurst, Wolf Echt Vegan! and Forster. All sausage and meat specialties as well as vegan and vegetarian products are sold under the Wolf brands. The Forster brand, on the other hand, comprises a wide range of convenience products for food retailers, discount stores and restaurants.
